Jennie Brooks, founder and owner of Longevity Club, brings an impressive training background and a well-traveled understanding of mindful movement to her clients every day. A native of Charleston, Jennie’s pursuits in health and fitness have taken her from Tuscany to the world-renowned Pilates studios of Northern California. Throughout her journey, she has worked with Olympians, apprenticed with master instructors, and developed a signature style of training that focuses on improving body mechanics and empowering the mind to achieve wellness and longevity through movement. Jennie is a Master Educator for Balanced Body and leads the Pilates Teacher Certification Program at Longevity Club. She is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and holds teaching certificates in Pilates Core Fitness Roller, Pilates for Golf, Tabata training, Posture Analysis and Correction through the National Posture Institute, TRX Level One and Two for Sports Medicine, and completed the highest level TRX certification, TRX Team.

DIANA DOVE REYNOLDS
Programs Manager, Certified Pilates Instructor, Personal Trainer, Group Class Instructor, Barre Instructor
A Connecticut native with a passion for both music and movement, Diana was captain of Boston College's (BC) dance team, a founding member of BC's Synergy Hip Hop Dance Company, and choreographer for both. In 2010, she earned her certifications in Group Fitness and Personal Training from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). She is also licensed in Barre by Physique 57 and has earned a second certification in personal training from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Diana has over 20 years of formal dance training in tap, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop.
Since joining the Longevity Club team on opening day 2015, Diana has completed Balanced Body’s Comprehensive Pilates Instructor certification under owner/master instructor Jennie Brooks. Having grown her Pilates knowledge over the years, Diana now assists Jennie with Longevity’s Apprenticeship Program, coaching the studio’s apprentice instructors toward their own comprehensive certifications. Diana runs the Sweat Therapy instructor training as well.

Master Trainer, Group Class Instructor
Bobby’s career in the health and fitness industry has spanned more than 25 years. He received his BS degree from Lander in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. He was part of the initial staff of the first Wellness Center in South Carolina in 1984. He went on to complete his Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of South Carolina. Bobby is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Fitness Director as well as an Exercise Specialist.

Benita spent her career at the MUSC Wellness Center and brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. She is an acclaimed runner, competing in over 30 marathons across the US. She is a two-time winner of the Kiawah Marathon and a two-time winner of the Marcus Newberry Award (awarded to the 1st local finisher of the Bridge Run). Benita has helped organize the Cooper River Bridge Run for the last 36 years both as Assistant Race Director and volunteer. She is loving continuing her passion for fitness by supporting her daughter Jennie at Longevity.

Club Manager
Proficient in training athletes of all skill levels and ages, along with busy professionals seeking to become stronger and healthier, Craig’s coaching journey commenced far before the culmination of his collegiate career. He soon found himself gravitating toward the operational and managerial facets of fitness and went on to serve as Director of Programming & Trainer Development at Bodymass Gym in Washington, DC. Prior to his dual-career in coaching and management, Craig was a Division I athlete at Northeastern University where he played baseball for the Huskies during his graduate studies and preceded with a BS in Biology at Roger Williams University. Craig’s academic prowess is matched only by his practical expertise as a coach and manager. His main goal is and always will be to provide the most value as possible to those he serves, and his approach remains solution-focused and intentionally individualized.

Nate’s fitness journey began at an early age. Michigan born and raised, Nate played sports year round and never missed an opportunity to get outdoors. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from Saginaw Valley State University, then moved to Colorado Springs where he continued to follow his passion for wellness and the outdoors. Mara joined Longevity Club in 2019 as an Exercise Science intern and now holds a Comprehensive Balanced Body Pilates Certification. She is also continuing her education by working toward her NASM Personal Training Certification. Originally from New Jersey, Mara fell in love with the warm, coastal and historic feel of Charleston. This led to her graduation from the College of Charleston, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Prior to that, she was a dancer for over 10 years, as well as an assistant dance teacher.

Hanna was first introduced to the Pilates method at the Governors School for the Arts high school in Norfolk, VA, as part of her weekly strength training for the Dance Department, and now holds a 500 hour comprehensive equipment certification through Pilates Instructor Academy. She is also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and has received additional certifications in TRX Suspension Method, Peripheral Neuropathy, CoreAlign 1, and Markarlu by Body Organics. She is currently going through the Balanced Body Bridge Program with The Longevity Club. Hanna also has over 17 years of classical dance training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Hip Hop. Her passion in teaching lies in watching clients fall in love with movement and seeing their quality of life improve!

He is currently working toward his Comprehensive Balanced Body Pilates Certification. Originally from Oklahoma, Jay obtained a degree in Business and Organizational Communication from the University of Kentucky. He was a multi-sport athlete playing football, basketball, lacrosse, track & field throughout college and has been expanding his knowledge of health, fitness and wellness since. His passion is to help his community cultivate a healthy and active lifestyle through consistent and purposeful movement. Growing up on Martha’s Vineyard, Sarah received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Endicott College and was a member of the women’s tennis team. She completed her internship in the field of Strength and Conditioning in which she continued to work in after graduating. Sarah’s passion for Pilates stems from her ballet training which began at a young age. This led her to pursue a ballet career while attending a pre-professional academy in New York City where she trained under Gelsey Kirkland and other world-class teachers. Sarah is currently working toward her Comprehensive Pilates Certification through Balanced Body.

Her passion is to educate, empower, and help build confidence in clients around fitness and nutrition so they can become the best version of themselves. Outside of Longevity, you can find her at the beach surfing or spending time with her friends and pup.

Caroline moved to Charleston from Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2018 to attend the College of Charleston where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. Caroline participated in competitive dance for several years, sparking an interest in Pilates and mindful movement. Her passion for movement only grew once she moved to Charleston, where she remained active through fitness classes and scenic walks. Upon graduation, Caroline became a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM, and is currently working towards her Balanced Body Comprehensive Pilates Certification under Jennie.

Jill began teaching group fitness classes at 17 years old. Certified in AFAA, TRX, Power Pilates and Xtend Barre, group fitness has always been an important part of her life. Originally from Massachusetts, Jill spent many years living in Greece and Germany where she enjoyed playing tennis and running track. She has worked as a Critical Care RN for twenty years and finished her career at Roper Hospital. Jill is currently working toward Comprehensive Pilates Certification through Balanced Body, under Jennie's wing.

A licensed esthetician for over 15 years, Jaffa takes an individualized approach to skincare therapy, creating sustainable treatment plans to address one's skincare needs and goals, while also promoting relaxation and instilling confidence. She works to achieve longevity of the skin by educating her clients on both prevention and maintenance.

PAMELA DURANT
Massage Therapist
Pamela is a board-certified massage therapist and NASM-certified personal trainer. She is also the owner of Elevate Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, LLC, and has worked as a massage therapist for professional athletes in the WTA, MLS, and U.S. Soccer. She has been an official massage therapist for the Women’s National Soccer Team since 2008, traveling to the 2011 Women’s World Cup and the 2012 Olympics. She has advanced training in myofascial release, kinesio taping, and active isolated stretching. In addition, she is a certified lymphedema therapist, which includes work in manual lymphatic drainage and complete decongestive therapy. Pamela received her Bachelors of Arts from Erskine College in Psychology and History and her Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling from University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Pamela studied massage at the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy, where she graduated Valedictorian.

Originally from the mountains in Northern Arizona, Clarissa made Charleston her home in 2003. Her interest in the power of touch was sparked at a young age when she learned about reflexology from her grandfather who has reined under Eunice Ingraham. This interest was further piqued by emerging research conducted by the Touch Research Institute on the vast physiological benefits of massage therapy. Clarissa attended Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy in 2005, where she specialized in Neuromuscular Massage and Massage Cupping. Clarissa is passionate about partnering with each client to facilitate healing, decrease pain, increase mobility and calm the nervous system. She takes an individual and intuitive approach with each massage session in order to move toward the client’s goals.
