7 questions with longevity's newest team member, caroline eichholz

Meet Caroline Eichholz, Operations Assistant and newest addition to Longevity. Caroline comes to us from Savannah, Georgia with an abundance of positivity and a passion for both finding and pursuing one's best self. Learn more about Caroline in our Q&A, and join us in giving her the warmest welcome to the Longevity team.
Where are you originally from and what brought you to Charleston?
I was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia and went off to pursue my undergraduate degree at the College of Charleston. While I returned to Savannah post-graduation, I recently returned to Charleston because I missed this city so much!
What drew you most to Longevity Fitness?
Not only being in an environment where I’m surrounded by like-minded individuals whether clients or staff members, but being in a beautiful facility that is unique to any other I have been in. I immediately felt the warmth.

What is your ‘non-negotiable’ when it comes to fitness?

Moving my body to some extent at least once a day.

Share your best wellness tip with us.

Getting at least 9 hours of sleep every night. I aim to go to bed between 8 and 9pm to wake up around 6:00am. That may seem early to most, but I know I won’t feel my best if I don’t!

When you are not at Longevity, you are typically _____.
At home, working on becoming a certified Co-Active Training Coach. Coaching is a unique dynamic as the coach and client come together in a co-active manner, working together to move the client closer to whatever goal they have in mind, in any area where they feel stuck. Those areas can be your career, relationships, family or whatever it may be. Coaches serve as your personal accountability partner and cheerleader, reminding you have all the answers within yourself. It’s truly a magical experience - my own coach even helped me with my recent career pivot and move to Charleston!

Favorite warm-up and cool-down song?

Warm-up song: Do It To It by ACRAZE, Cherish
Cool-down song: Unsteady by X Ambassadors
What is your go-to recipe for a quick and healthy snack?

HOMEMADE ENERGY BITES
Measurements don’t even matter, it’s that simple!
-Almond butter (can substitute for peanut butter)
-Vegan chocolate chips (can substitute for regular chocolate chips)
        -Old fashioned rolled oats
        -Vanilla
        -Honey
        -Ground flaxseed
  1. Combine all ingredients together in a bowl. Work with it as best as you can since it is meant to be a little sticky.
  2. Place mixture in the fridge for about 30 minutes or until you see it has firmed up a little.
  3. Roll into little bite-sized balls and enjoy! Keep any remaining energy bites in the refrigerator until you’re ready to enjoy as they will soften if left at room temperature.
