immune-boosting tips from the longevity team

Our immune systems have been working overtime to ward off seasonal (and now perennial) viruses, infections and other illnesses. If loading up on Emergen-C packs isn't quite doing the job, try incorporating some of these immune-boosting tips for the extra support your body demands. 
VITAMINS & SUPPLEMENTS
  • Vitamin D3
  • Zinc
  • Magnesium
  • L-lysine
  • Blue green algae, spirulina and chlorophyll capsules 
  • Ashwagandha/stress complex
  • Oil of oregano
  • Quercetin & bromelain
  • Elderberry tincture
  • Ginger, turmeric and garlic blend

TIPS 
  • Move your body daily through exercise, walking and stretching
  • Take a warm epsom salt bath
  • Gargle with warm water and sea salt
  • Spend a minimum of 20 minutes in an infrared sauna
  • Consume 1-2 cups of grass-fed bone broth
  • End your evening with a cup of tea containing any of the following: dandelion, oregano, peppermint, nettle leaf, chamomile, lemongrass, licorice root, ginger
  • Use an essential oil blend roller with thyme, oregano and rosemary
  • Get a lymphatic massage to boost drainage and circulation
  • Irrigate your sinus cavities with either saline solution, nebulizer or neti pot (with distilled water)
  • Hold a facial steamer close to your nose for a few minutes (with distilled water)
  • Gently massage your neck and sinuses with a gua sha tool for drainage
  • Prioritize sleep
    • For sleep supplements, look for ingredients like GABA, melatonin, magnesium, valerian root, passionflower, tart cherry, lavender
    • Avoid alcohol and/or heavy meals before bed
