longevity trainers share their go-to running shoes

Running performance can be influenced by a variety of factors - from the surface we run on and the time of day we do it, to the foods we eat and the shoes we wear. Our shoes, especially, can be the difference between a really great run and a run that was cut short due to discomfort. Go for a run in the shoes of a Longevity trainer as they share their go-to pair.

JENNIE
Both are lightweight and offer great support:
  • Reebok Floatride Energy 2
  • Under Armour Charged Assert 8

BOBBY
  • Nike Air Zoom Pegasus - Provides a good amount of cushion and support
  • Brooks Ghost - This has the most cushion

BENITA
  • Nike Pegasus - Always! I like these because they run narrow and come in several lightweight styles.

DIANA
  • Mizuno - These were recommended to me when I was fitted for proper running shoes.

MICHELLE
  • ON Cloud - I don’t run long distances anymore, so I love a lightweight shoe that I can keep on between my short runs and strength training workouts!
SHELLY
  • ON - Because they look good, too!

QUINCY
  • ASICS GT 2000 - These are so comfortable and helpful with foot pronation.
MARA
  • ASICS GT 2000 Narrow - I have narrow feet and tend to pronate when I walk and run, so I love these. They also provide arch support.
