A daily coffee ritual delights all of the senses - from smelling, hearing and watching a fresh cup brew, to feeling the warmth in your palms as you take that first sip. If you’re one of the coffee lovers of Longevity, you may have noticed our espresso station’s new look. We are proud to now carry Lavazza, a family-founded and -operated Italian coffee company that purposefully sources the highest quality beans from ethical and sustainable farms.

ABOUT LAVAZZA COFFEE
The internationally renowned brand that operates in more than 90 countries originally started out as a grocery store in the late 19th century by the company’s founder, Luigi Lavazza. (You can still visit the store to this day in the city of Turin on Via San Tommaso) Luigi was known for blending various coffees to suit the preference of each customer, which allowed him to develop enough of a following to transition into a coffee shop. As more and more experienced the homemade coffee blends, the establishment became a formal coffee business, and ultimately led to the creation of the largest roasting plant in Europe. Four generations later, the family has grown the company into an Italian staple and one of the most prominent coffee companies in the world. 

At Longevity, we love supporting sustainable efforts. Lavazza contributes to improving the development of the countries where they source coffee. For over 10 years, they have been working directly with projects that support sustainability of local communities in Central and South America, Africa and Asia, while also helping small coffee producers to improve the local economy, community life and working/environmental conditions.

Light Purple: The round taste of the grains from Central-South American origins blends with the aromatic taste of the coffee beans of African Arabica to create a mixture with a velvety, full-bodied flavor. The dark roasting and a touch of Robusta in the regions of Southeast Asia provides a balance that reveals hints of cocoa and spicy nuances.

Bright Red: Espresso Armonico, a coffee with a full-bodied flavor offers harmony and sweetness with notes of roasted cereals and caramel for a well-rounded coffee.

​Fuschia: Espresso Deciso is born out of the combination of Brazilian and Southeast Asian beans: a soft and full-bodied Brazilian coffee with Oriental notes of cocoa and wood for a blend of intense flavors.
